A Message from Dr. Richard Speers to His Patients
Dear valued patient,
After forty fours in private practice and thirty seven years at 123 Edward Street Suite 1107 (now rebranded as Atlas Dental), I have made the decision to retire from a successful career in dentistry. For so many reasons, this is truly the right time.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to look after your oral health care needs over the years. Thank you for your confidence in my abilities. I know I will dearly miss meeting and speaking with you. So many of you have become good friends and mentors, and that has been a wonderful and enlightening experience.
Because I want to be certain that you continue to receive the best possible care, I have carefully evaluated a number of candidates who were interested in taking care of my practice. I have chosen Dr David Nguy, whom I believe possesses the highest qualifications and is extremely skilled in all phases of dentistry. Like myself, Dr Nguy is also a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Before coming to our practice, Dr Nguy worked for a number of years as an associate dentist in Brampton, Ontario. Dr Nguy, and his wife Alice, also live in Toronto.
I am confident that Dr Nguy and our team will continue to provide you and your family the best possible care. I wish you the best in the future. Again, thank you for the opportunity to have served your dental health care needs.
Yours truly,
Dr Richard D. Speers, D.D.S.
Continuing Care with Dr. David Nguy and the Atlas Dental Team
A Message from Dr. David Nguy to Dr. Speers’ Patients:
Dear valued patient,
As you know, Dr Speers will be retiring in the near future and has chosen me with caring for his office and patients. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for trusting me with your dental care. With the continuing support of Dr Speers’ original team, it is my expectation that this transition will provide you with seamless, high quality care.
I am a Toronto native with deep roots in the local community. Prior to graduating from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry a number of years ago, I finished a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from McMaster University. I am a dentist in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and I also maintain active memberships with the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Like Dr Speers, I believe that I have a duty to present all treatment options to you and then carry out your care to the highest possible standard. It is our philosophy that any intervention is much easier when you are involved in the decision-making process.
I will be continuing the same high quality dentistry that you have come to know and expect with the support of Dr Speers’ original dental team: Office Manager Donna Bigras, Registered Dental Hygienist Elizabeth Pabjas, and Dental Assistant Maria Liu.
Dr Speers has a reputation that precedes him, and it is my goal to maintain the standards he had set for you in your ongoing dental care.
I look forward to meeting you at your next dental visit.
Yours truly,
Dr David Nguy
